On Tuesday 28 May, we hosted the Combined Schools Band Event at Covenant College.  Students from Covenant College, Kardinia International College, St Joseph’s College, Geelong High and St Ignatius College all came together to work in a giant band of 180 students.  We were blessed to work with guest conductor Sue Arney, a well renowned educator who currently trains upcoming teachers at the University of Melbourne.  Sue is very highly regarded and is often engaged to work with students at State and National band camps.  The students learned so much throughout the afternoon and delivered an incredible performance at the evening concert!  Congratulations to all the Covenant students who attended- you represented our school beautifully and played so well.  Well done!
