The Covenant Warriors are affiliated with three separate Sporting bodies; WCSSA (Western Christian Schools Sports Association), CSSN (Christian Schools Sports Network) and GISSA (Geelong Independent Schools Sports Association).
The CSSN (Christian Schools Sports Network) is the state-wide branch of the CSA (Christian Schools Australia) organisation. The CSSN aims to:
Over 25 schools from around the Melbourne & Geelong area compete in the CSSN, all finding the newly formed competition highly professional and of a standard seeking excellence from student competitors. It is essentially a state level event, with it also being the qualifying round for National (NCSS) competition, and Victorian selection. With venues including Olympic Park (Athletics) and the Melbourne Sport and Aquatic Centre (Swimming), it’s clear that the CSSN strives for providing idealistic sporting events for students to compete in.
Covenant College competes in both Primary and Secondary CSSN competition in Athletics, Cross Country and Swimming, as well as some additional Secondary team sport competition across the year. Since CSSN inception in 2008, Covenant College have been crowned Secondary Cross County Champions, Secondary Athletics Champions and Primary Athletics Champions (twice).
The GISSA (Geelong Indipendent Schools Sports Association) is one of the premier Secondary school sporting organisations in the Geelong region. The following schools are affiliated with GISSA:
Since the launch of the Covenant Warriors in 2009, Covenant College have been crowned GISSA 7/8 Cricket Champions (2010), Boys 7/8 Volleyball Champions (2009) and Boys 7/8 and 9/10 Soccer Champions (2010).
